Cost based on two people sharing a double room in 4 star accommodation
Day 1

- Flight from the UK to Buenos Aires.

Day 2

- Reception at the airport and a transfer to the hotel.
- In the evening, a Tango show with dinner and wine included at the famous El Querandi restaurant.

Day 3

- City tour of Buenos Aires, visiting sites of cultural and historical interest such as the Recoleta Cemetery, Obelisk, Presidential Palace and Theatre Colon.
- Dinner in a traditional Argentine restaurant.

Day 4

- Day in an estancia, a traditional family ranch with horse riding, folk dancing, gaucho (rancher) horseman skills show and an asado (traditional Argentine barbecue).

Day 5

- Transfer to the airport for the morning flight to Mendoza.
- Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
- Lunch in a traditional restaurant during which you will meet the oenologist, who will accompany you throughout the tour, and begin to familiarize yourselves with the local wines.
- After lunch, a city tour in which you’ll start to learn about the local culture, a key aspect in understanding the wine production process.
- Optional dinner with guided wine tasting.

Day 6

- After breakfast we depart for the fertile Mendoza oasis where we will visit three or 4 wineries:

La Rural Winery, Finca Flichman Winery, lunch at Familia Zuccardi Winery, finally Tapaus Winery or Tierras Altas Winery.

- Lunch in which you’ll enjoy a selection of delicious Argentinean meat, accompanied by house wines.
- After lunch you have an introductory lecture, in which our oenologist will explain the technique of wine tasting and will introduce you to the world of wine, wine production techniques, the importance of the cork and the correct way to handle a glass in order to taste wine.
- Optional dinner with guided wine tasting.

Day 7

- Morning visit to the Cavas de Weinert Winery and Terrazas Winery.
- Afternoon at leisure or optional suggested afternoon programmes:

1) Cooking class & wine tasting experience.
2) Visit to the Fabre Montmayou and Dolium wineries.

- In the evening you will enjoy a farewell dinner at the well known 1884 Restaurant, owned by the famous international chief Francis Mallman.

Day 8

- Leave Mendoza, driving along the international route across the Andes Mountains to Chile. On the way you will visit the Potrerillos and Uspallata valleys. After reaching the Aconcagua National Park, you take a walk to see the Horcones Lagoon and Aconcagua Mountain (6962m), the tallest peak in South America. You then stop at the Puente del Inca Hostel for lunch, after which you continue your journey, crossing into Chile to the town of Los Andes where you will visit the installations of the Errázuriz Panquehue Winery. Afterwards, you travel to your hotel in Santiago.

Day 9

- City tour of Santiago and visit to the Enoteca Museum.
- A wine tasting session and lecture on Chilean wineries and wines.
- Lunch at the Camino Real Restaurant.
- Guided wine tasting and visit to the Concha and Toro Wineries.
- Accommodation and dinner at Los Lingues Ranch.

Day 10

- A tour of two wineries in the Colchagua valley.
- Traditional lunch with guided wine tasting.
- Accommodation and dinner in Los Lingues Ranch.

Day 11

- Tour to the Undurraga and Trapaca vineyards and two or three local wineries for wine tasting.
- Traditional lunch.
- In the evening you have a dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 12

- Day at leisure in Santiago.

Day 13

- Transfer to the airport for the flight to Buenos Aires.
- Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 14

- Day at leisure in Buenos Aires.

Day 15

- Transfer to the airport for the flight to the UK.

Day 16

- Arrive in the UK.
