Iguazu Falls
In the province of Misiones, located along the border of Argentina and Brazil, is the magnificent Iguazu Falls National Park. A set of walkways on the Brazilian side of the national park provide you with an awe inspiring overview of the falls. On the Argentine side, networks of walking paths and river ways allow you to discover up close the wonders of the park's luscious jungle, and take you at times to almost touching distance of the falls themselves.

One highlight is an exhilarating boat ride that carries you right into the explosion of spray and noise, where the thundering cascades of water from the waterfalls above crash into the river below. Another is the Devil's Throat, where several falls converge to drop their massive loads of water, creating a spectacular cauldron of foam of which you have a breathtaking view from the walkway above.

Iguazu Falls

Jesuit Missions and the Ibera Marshes
The region also offers other attractions such as the restored Jesuit missions that lie along the border with Paraguay, and the Ibera marshes of Corrientes, vast wetlands rich in wildlife. The lagoons and watery channels are home to an abundance of birds (over 350 species), wolves, capybaras, caiman, otters and anacondas.
