Cordoba Province
Although Cordoba is regarded as Argentina's second city after Buenos Aires, the real attractions lie outside in the surrounding fertile countryside, well known for its "Sierras de Cordoba" - picturesque hills, criss-crossed by lush valleys. In this wonderful setting, you'll find tranquil villages from where you can hike and horse trek along beautiful scenic routes.

Cordoba

Due to immigration in the early part of the last century, there is a charming, German influence on the architecture, food and beer. There are a huge variety of delicious local brews to be sampled, enough to keep any connoisseur busy for a few days. In fact, if you're looking for great beer and a good party, you can always coincide your visit with the region's famous beer festival, its very own Oktoberfest.
