Bariloche and San Martin de los Andes
Argentina's lake-district is characterized by its marvellous glacial lakes, snow-capped peaks and pristine forest. The two principal cities of the Lake District are San Carlos de Bariloche, perched on the edge of the stunning lake, Nahuel Huapi, and San Martin de Los Andes, encircled by majestic mountains. From both cities you can access spectacular national parks with endless opportunities for hiking. Around San Martin de Los Andes, in particular, there are many excellent horse riding trails. The area is also well known for its picturesque estancias, and there is great fishing and horse trekking to be found in the Lanin National Park. In the winter, the region boasts superb skiing.

Day 1 |
- Transfer to the airport for the flight from Buenos Aires to Bariloche.
- Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. |
Day 2 |
- Breakfast.
- Full day excursion to Arrayanes Woods (a unique arboreal formation of ancient
trees), followed by a boat trip on the Nahuel Huapi lake to Victoria Island. |
Day 3 |
- Breakfast.
- Full day excursion either trekking on Tronador Mount, or a panoramic bus tour of the Seven Lakes circuit to San Martin de los Andes. |
Day 4 |
- Breakfast.
- Day at leisure to choose one of the many activities/excursions available in
Bariloche (horseback riding, trekking and rafting etc). |
Day 5 |
- Breakfast.
- Transfer to the airport for the flight from Bariloche to Buenos Aires. |
